Stacey Equestrian Terms and Conditions for Cross Country Course.

These terms and conditions must always be adhered to whilst on site. Any breach of these will result in termination of the booking and ejection from the facility. 

By placing a booking, it implies that you have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions. All visitors that use the facilities do so at their own risk and acknowledge the risk of injury relative to riding a horse. Stacey Equestrian will not be held liable for any loss or damage occurring to your belongings, including horse and vehicle while on site.

Stacey Equestrian has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the horse and rider. It is your responsibility to take precautions to prevent accidents. Stacey Equestrian reserves the right to remove riders from the facilities. Money will not be refunded.  Stacey Equestrian does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders or any other persons or property whatsoever. No rider will be allowed onto the course unless these terms and conditions are accepted.

Each booking is made per horse not per hour, please make sure that you are tacked up and ready to go at the time stated in your booking confirmation.  Payment is required prior to entering the course and must be placed in the honesty box to the left of the sign in area. Please bring correct amount as there will be no change facilities. Stacey Equestrian reserve the right to close the facilities and cancel pre-made bookings at short notice. In this case, a refund will be issued to all cancelled bookings.

Riding hats (no fixed peak) that adhere to the current BE safety standards must be worn. Suitable and correctly fitted tack, including saddle and bridle, must be worn. Failure to wear correct safety equipment will void any insurance and result in the rider being ejected from the facility.

Riders must be accompanied by an adult over 18, either on foot or mounted. Riders and their companions must co-operate with other riders sharing the facilities. Unless riding, children must always be with adults. There should be no climbing on the fences, jumps or machinery. The throwing of sticks, stones or any other debris into or near the water jump is prohibited.

Dogs must always be kept on leads when on the course and mess must be cleared up and disposed of in the correct manner.

Users must thoroughly poo pick after using the arenas, tools and skips are provided. Parking is only allowed in the cross country parking lot unless stated otherwise.  Please avoid parking in front of farm machinery/ equipment that may be present. No mucking out lorries or trailers anywhere on site. Car parks must be poo-picked.

Any bad behaviour or language towards other users or staff will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate suspension or ban.

Damage to fences must be reported, you will not be charged. Fences must be checked before they are jumped, to check they are safe and the rider understands the obstacle. Flags must be replaced when knocked out. Do not jump a flagged obstacle in the wrong direction. Do not jump a fence with crossed flags. Do not jump a fence that is beyond your capability. All portable jumps will be marked with a red tab indicating the correct way to jump it. Please respect and adhere to this. Failure to do so will result in termination of your booking.

All riders and instructors must have their own public liability insurance.  If bringing own instructor, please make sure that their insurance is up to date and that they have digital proof if asked by a member of staff.

Access to arenas is given through a track up past Spinney Cottage. This will be signposted. All other tracks are off limits.

All horses must have their vaccinations up to date, with in the last 12-month period and be able to produce an up to date passport if required to by a member of staff.
